Autumn Ladybirds

Did a bit of much needed work in the garden yesterday afternoon, and got a bit distracted by all the lovely Ladybirds I found. They looked very Autumnal crawling around in the old strawberry plant leaves, here’s a selection.

This rather large Garden spider (also know as ‘Cross spider’ due to the markings on the back) was right next to my ear as I was photographing the Ladybirds, and I only noticed she was there when I heard rustling…
